We provide support for a range of men’s health issues, including prostate checks and testosterone services with extended check ups. Our prostate appointments include a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test, which is a blood test to help diagnose prostate problems. Extra tests can be arranged at an additional fee.

A London-trained GP with experience in multiple locations, founded Private GP Services in Essex in 2001. She believes in continuity of care and patient-centered medicine. A British Menopause Society member, she focuses on women's health, HRT, and male menopause treatment. Dr. Peck can also deliver consultations in Turkish.
Since 2000, Dr. Osuji has worked extensively in Family Medicine. After practicing in Nigeria, she moved to the UK in 2005 for a Masters at Glasgow University. She has experience in various fields and completed her GP training in 2021. Passionate about community care, she's a dedicated and respected doctor.
Dr Polly Bennion graduated from Nottingham Medical School in 2008 and trained in General Medicine and Oncology in London and Surrey. She completed her GP training in Colchester and worked as an NHS GP at Ardleigh Surgery. In 2023, she joined Private GP Services. Her interests include General Medicine, Oncology, Paediatrics, and Preventative and Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr Copeman, from Billericay, has lived in Colchester since 1997, working as an NHS GP from 1999 to 2022. She graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School and completed placements at Colchester General Hospital. Experienced in various fields, she has a reputation for her compassionate and kind GP.
Alice Pinion, a Warwick University graduate, is a seasoned Therapist and Sports Mind Coach in Essex. She employs diverse psychological methods for personalised solutions, aiding youths and adults in mental health and performance. Issues addressed include concentration, anxiety, and stress. Alice is also an author of The Essential Sporting Mind Toolkit.

No additional charge is made for the issue of private prescriptions or private sickness certificates if required within consultation. We are happy to complete any claim forms for referral. Our standard GP consultation times are 15 minutes, but we also offer 30 minute appointments. You can select the appointment type based on your preferences.
No, you don't need to de-register from your NHS GP practice. You can choose to visit us for an appointment at any time.
