Things to know
A non-live vaccine. A bite or scratch from an animal with rabies will result in death. Vaccinations are available to delay the transmission of the rabies virus from bite point to the brain and can buy valuable time when searching for an antidote/treatment abroad.

Dosing Schedule
A course of three vaccines. The first two of the vaccines must be given 7 days apart, the third 2 – 3 weeks after the second.

£40 travel consultation for new patients/first appointment regarding travel. £80 per dose.

Please note: You can book and pay for a vaccination appointment online (£40), but will need to pay for the price of the vaccine on the day you attend the appointment. Please provide medical records detailing prior vaccinations, or your vaccination history, in time for your consultation.
