Indications
Whooping Cough is caused by pertussis and is known as the 100-day cough. It is a notifiable disease in the United Kingdom and can be fatal in young babies.

Things to know
Not a live vaccine Given in combination with Diptheria/Tetanus/Polio ( not harmful to get extra of these). Often a requirement for grandparents traveling to Australia ( Public Health Australia wishes travellers to be vaccinated before visiting new grandchildren). Given as standard at 28 weeks plus in UK pregnancies to protect newborn babies.

Dosing Schedule
Usually lasts 10 years.
