Dr Dunn graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1996. She completed her house jobs at one of the world’s largest hospitals, The Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, in Johannesburg before migrating north to the UK.
Dr Dunn spent 3 years in hospital medicine in Lincolnshire and Hertfordshire before completing her GP qualification in Norfolk in 2002.
Since qualifying as a GP Dr Dunn has worked for the Uttlesford PCT and as a salaried GP in Great Dunmow before undertaking freelance GP work to accommodate family life and achieve a better work-life balance.
Dr Dunn enjoys being a generalist, embracing all aspects of general practice to facilitate a holistic approach and continuity of care for patients. Dr Dunn has a special interest in Aviation Medicine as is a qualified Aviation Medical Examiner.
Dr Dunn is married to a long haul airline pilot and has two children not to mention a small array of much-loved animals large and small. There is nothing she enjoys more than being a mum and being with her family. Dr Dunn joined Private GP Services at the end of 2017 as an associate.
